Job summary

Radiance Technologies in Dayton, OH is seeking a Model-Based Systems Engineer to join the MASS Operation, supporting NASIC customers. You will help develop authoritative models, architectures, and datasets using SysML and MBSE practices, collaborating with engineers and government customers to deliver solutions.

You should have a strong systems engineering background, experience with MBSE tools, and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of SysML for modeling architectures and system behaviors.
• Proficiency with MBSE methodologies and tools (Cameo, MagicDraw, Rhapsody, EA).
• Experience developing and maintaining models and artifacts for complex systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance.

The Modeling, Analytics, and Simulation Sciences (MASS) Operation is seeking a Model-Based Systems Engineer to support our customers at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is a rapidly growing field in the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Communities. As a member of our engineering team, you will work alongside engineers and software developers to develop authoritative engineering models that contribute to our nation’s defense.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, or related technical field

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

• Strong knowledge of SysML for modeling architectures and system behaviors

• Proficiency with MBSE methodologies and tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, IBM Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect)

• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain models, artifacts, and integrated datasets for complex systems and systems of systems

• Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment, including internal staff, external contractors, and government customers

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce and present technical documentation and artifacts

• Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Engineering field or related certifications such as OCSMP Certifications, INCOSE CSEP, or Project Management PMP (among others)

• Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, including Java, C++, or Python

• Experience with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Unified Architecture Framework (UAF), or other architecture frameworks.

• Ability to analyze architecture and engineering data to solve complex problems, recommend solutions, and improve products and processes

• Knowledge of aerospace/defense systems and processes

• Knowledge of modeling and simulation (M&S) tools and practices

• Active TS/SCI security clearance
