Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks Mechanical Design Engineers for an up-conversion team on a modernization program for a major aerospace and defense manufacturer. The role focuses on turning legacy 2D drawings and 3D models into annotated, model-authoritative definitions ready for PLM release.

You will build model-based definitions in Creo, add notes and parameters, run checks, create the model-based BOM, and produce neutral files while collaborating with the technical lead on process

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of mechanical CAD design in a parametric tool (CATIA, NX, SolidWorks, or Creo).
• Working knowledge of GD&T fundamentals (ASME Y14.5).
• Willingness to learn Creo MBD and the program’s model-based process.

Responsibilities

• Build model-based definitions in Creo with manufacturing intent and PMI.
• Add notes and data rights, distribution, and export statements; populate mass/material properties.
• Run automated model checks (Creo ModelCHECK) and ensure annotations tie to geometry.
