Job summary

Acro Service Corp seeks a Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer to design and analyze advanced mechanical products for defense projects. You will create 3D models, assemblies, and drawings in Creo Parametric 11, perform GD&T and tolerance analyses, and ensure quality and compliance with military specs.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 4+ years (MS+2) and experience with Windchill PLM.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 4+ years of experience (MS with 2+ years acceptable).
  • Proficiency in Creo/Pro-E, GD&T (ASME Y14.5), tolerance stack analysis.
  • Engineering drawings and PLM systems such as Windchill.
  • Experience with manufacturing support and military or aerospace products preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Designs, analyzes, tests, and develops mechanical products including ammunition handling systems, structures, gun systems, missile launchers, and precision mechanisms.
  • Creates and maintains 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using PTC Creo Parametric 11.
  • Performs engineering analysis, testing, tolerance stack-ups, GD&T, and product assurance activities while ensuring compliance with applicable engineering standards and military specifications.
  • Develops technical documentation, supports manufacturing and production activities, collaborates with customers and cross-functional teams, and contributes to project planning, schedules, and budgets.
  • Maintains current knowledge of engineering practices, industry standards, and technologies while ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
