Job summary
Lonza in Portsmouth, NH seeks a MODA-ES Supervisor to lead the MES Engineering team responsible for eBR development and maintenance within the MODA-ES platform.
You will guide project execution, coach engineers, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Global partners to ensure compliant, efficient operations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- 5–10 years in regulated manufacturing (pharma/biotech).
- 5–10 years supporting automation (MES); MODA-ES preferred.
- Past leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the MES Engineering team; provide coaching and performance management.
- Drive MES projects; maintain and enhance electronic batch records within MODA-ES.
- Develop team schedules; prioritize workloads; manage timelines.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, CAPEX, Global and customer teams.
- Author, review, and close quality records (deviations, CAPAs, changes).
- Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting for MES apps.
- Lead training initiatives for MES Engineers and staff.
