Job summary

Washington State Patrol is seeking a Fiscal Technician 3 to support mobilization accounting and reimbursement processes. The role involves preparing invoices, auditing payments, and coordinating with fire agencies to ensure timely submissions.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of mobilization invoice vouchers from audited fire documents
• Investigating discrepancies and contacting submitting agency for corrections
• Ensuring timely forwarding of invoice vouchers to Accounts Payable
• Scanning and archiving of Professional Development & Response Section copies of invoice vouchers
• Auditing financial system payments against Professional Development & Response Section records
• Preparing monthly Mobilization financial reports
• Outreach to fire agencies to ensure timely submission of reimbursement claims
• Supporting Fire Prevention Division invoice voucher preparation activities
• Division wide clerical support as needed
