Qualifications

• California Certified Nurse Assistant with 1000 hours of recent acute clinical or skilled nursing facility experience within the last three years.
• If unable to fill: California Certified Nursing Assistant within 1 year of initial certification from a program with clinical training as a PCA/CNA Trainee.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (California) license required and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic nursing care and document observations in the medical record.
• Reposition and transfer patients using lift devices with a second trained person.
• Provide activities of daily living including baths, dressing, feeding, grooming, and hygiene.
• Collect specimens, monitor vital signs, and assist with devices as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and replenish supplies; report faulty equipment and respond to emergencies.
