Job summary

Amazon Leo in Redmond is hiring a Mobility Technical Program Manager to drive Experience Validation Mobility across land, sea, and air segments. You will unify PMT, engineering, and business partners to ensure test coverage, strategy, and readiness for complex hardware-testbeds and software builds.

You will manage schedules, risks, and metrics while coordinating with vendors and internal teams to support rapid release cadences and robust customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the program mechanics behind a hardware-intensive testing operation.
• Manage cross-segment test schedules, track progress against network performance targets, and enable readiness of test environments (van, vessel, aircraft) and related hardware and software tooling.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners to maintain test coverage aligned with fast-moving software and hardware release cadences.
• Track open items and risks, drive mitigations to closure, and maintain clear, data-backed leadership status.

Mobility Technical Program Manager, Amazon Leo

Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable broadband connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From households to small businesses, schools, hospitals, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve communities and organizations operating in places without dependable internet access.

The Experience Validation Mobility team verifies that Leo delivers a reliable customer experience across land, maritime, and aviation mobility, testing the out-of-the-box experience, end-to-end network performance, and real-world user stories in vehicles, vessels, and aircraft in real world conditions. We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to drive the execution of Experience Validation Mobility verification across these segments.

Key job responsibilities

• In this role, you will be the connective tissue between the PMT, business development, and engineering teams, keeping test strategy, environments, targets, and timelines aligned with real customer requirements and SLAs.


• You will own the program mechanics behind a complex, hardware‑intensive testing operation.


• You will manage cross‑segment test schedules and dependencies, track progress against network performance targets, and drive the readiness of test environments including van, vessel, and aircraft testbeds, their HW infrastructure, and the test software and tooling.


• You will coordinate with internal and external partners (engineering teams, flight‑test and vessel vendors, and field‑quality engineering) to keep test coverage aligned with a fast‑moving release cadence of new software builds and hardware.


• You will track open items and risks, drive mitigations to closure, and maintain clear, data‑backed status for leadership.

Export Control Requirement:

Basic Qualifications

• Experience previously in program or project management

• Experience coordinating across engineering and business teams and managing technical dependencies, schedules, and risks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience transforming raw thoughts into clear technical documentation and/or direction.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
