Job summary

Rehab Technology Supplier (RTS) is seeking a field-oriented Rehab Technology Technician focused on evaluating patient needs and matching the right rehab assistive devices. You will advocate for clients, coordinate with medical personnel and vendors, and help ensure timely delivery of equipment with proper training for use and safety.

You will assess homes for accessibility, assist with equipment adjustments, and maintain accurate paperwork while providing top-notch customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for mobility equipment.
• Understanding of insurance reimbursement processes.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional relationship with clients, medical personnel, vendors and referral sources.
• Work with rehab team to conduct detailed evaluations.
• Physically assess seating and mobility needs with accurate measurements.
• Assess home environments for conditions impacting equipment use.
• Provide listening and communication during troubleshooting via phone or in person.
• Contact manufacturers to obtain access to necessary evaluations.
• Participate in final delivery: proper fitting and usage training, including loading/unloading equipment and setting up ramps.
• Complete and process all signed paperwork.
• Provide quality control of equipment.
