Oswego County Opportunities, Inc. seeks a Transportation Supervisor to lead and support our team of drivers, ensuring safe, reliable, and high‑quality transportation for the community.

You will recruit, train, mentor, and supervise drivers, promote safety and customer service, and help individuals reach medical appointments, programs, and employment opportunities. This full‑time role focuses on 5310 Mobility Management and compliance with NYSDOT/FTA regulations, with a Monday and Friday

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5 years of supervising transportation staff or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of DOT/FTA regulations and 5310 Mobility Management.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision to Transit Operators and scheduling staff.
• Collaborate with Training/Compliance Manager to oversee operators.
• Ensure compliance with FTA Drug and Alcohol Program and related safety practices.
• Develop and update operational procedures to improve efficiency.
• Oversee vehicle safety inspections and reporting, and coordinate with IT for routing/tracking."],
