Job summary

Numotion, the leader in complex rehabilitation technology, seeks a Service Technician to repair and service manual and powered wheelchairs and other medical equipment. You will diagnose issues, perform field and shop repairs, and educate users on safe operation while maintaining accurate documentation.

The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, tool proficiency, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Training and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Minimum of two years mechanical experience; medical equipment preferred.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools for equipment repair.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Driving: Valid State Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment in the shop and in the field.
• Maintain stock equipment and ensure reliable working order for customer use.
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the shop/warehouse.
• Maintain delivery vehicles to ensure safe operating condition.
• Receive, store, and ship parts with accurate inventory tracking.
• Complete thorough documentation and obtain necessary signatures.
• Educate customers and caregivers on proper use, care, and safety of the equipment.
• Perform minor fittings and adjustments to customize equipment for each user.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
• Participate in required in-service training to stay updated with industry practices.
