Job summary

Numotion is seeking a Service Technician to service and repair complex manual and powered wheelchairs and other medical equipment. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure equipment safety and reliability for customers.

The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, travel to various locations, and the ability to explain proper use and safety to customers and caregivers. A valid driver's license and a proactive safety approach are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, or equivalent related experience.
• Minimum 2 years mechanical experience; medical equipment preferred.
• Proficient with hand and power tools used for repair.
• Basic computer skills: Word Processing, Email, Internet.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record; travel may be required.
• Experience with wheelchair or medical equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment in the shop and in the field.
• Maintain stock equipment and organize inventory for customer use.
• Keep the shop/warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Maintain delivery vehicles to ensure safe operating condition.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely, including signatures and reports.
• Educate customers and caregivers on proper use and safety of equipment.
