Job summary

The Pasadena Post Acute is seeking a Restorative Nursing Assistant to support residents with restorative exercises and daily care plans. You will collaborate with the rehab and nursing teams to promote mobility, independence, and comfort.

You'll assist with meals, transfers, hygiene, and ADLs, document care accurately, and report changes promptly. A CNA certification and RNA training are required, with experience in long-term care preferred.

Qualifications

• Restorative Nursing Assistant certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in computer skills, including data input for Point Click Care.
• One year of experience in a long-term care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with restorative exercises to improve or maintain mobility.
• Encourage resident participation in activity and out-of-bed mobility.
• Provide assistance with dining, transfers, ambulation, and ROM activities.
• Obtain and record resident weights and report significant changes to nursing staff.
• Ensure residents have clean clothing and linens in good repair.
• Assist with toileting, bathing, dressing and other ADLs as needed.
• Reposition residents regularly to promote comfort and prevent skin issues.
• Accurately complete documentation and charting of all care provided.
