Saint Clare's Health, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking Mobility Assistance Vehicle Technicians (MAVT) for per diem, varied shifts in the Denville area. The role involves transporting patients who require assistance using mobility devices, ensuring safety and comfort during appointments, therapies, and visits.

Requires MAVT certification, BLS CPR, and a valid driver's license. Pay begins at $18.28 per hour with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

Current and valid MAVT certification.
Current and valid Healthcare Provider BLS CPR card.
Valid Driver's License.
CEVO certification must obtain within 3 months of hire and renew in 3 year period.
High School Diploma or Equivalency.
Previous MAVT experience preferred.
Must have a good driving history within the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

Mobility Assistance Vehicle Technicians are responsible for transporting private patients and patients from skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities who are wheelchair bound or who are ambulatory but need assistance via devices.
MAVTs are responsible for the safe transport and care of these patients throughout the duration of an appointment, doctor's office, dialysis treatments, physical therapy and/or other medically needed reasons.
