Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care is expanding its radiology program and seeks a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to deliver high‑quality X‑ray imaging across multiple sites within the assigned region. You will start up and shut down X-ray equipment and verify patient identity and orders.

This role involves traveling to designated locations, maintaining fleet logs, documenting in EMR, and participating in quality control while pursuing ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Mastery of X-ray procedures and safety protocols.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy/physiology for imaging.
• Ability to troubleshoot radiology equipment.
• Excellent customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Start up and shut down all X-Ray equipment
• Identify patient and confirm examination orders
• Travel to designated locations within region to perform X-Ray exams
• Manage fleet vehicle duties and logs
• Coordinate with teams and maintain communication
• Prepare patients and conduct radiologic procedures safely
• Obtain patient history and document observations
• Use radiation protection and shielding materials
• Ensure equipment functions and report malfunctions
• Document procedures in EMR and billing notes
• Obtain pre-authorization for CT scans
• Verify exam in PACS and update patient chart
• Participate in quality control/assurance
• Assist with basic medical assisting and triage calls
