Job summary

Maternal and Family Health Services, Inc. seeks a Program Assistant for our Mobile Unit to deliver WIC services at designated community locations outside MFHS sites. You will collect data, screen clients for eligibility, and provide nutrition education in line with organizational goals.

The role requires strong driving skills, ability to travel in a mobile unit, and bilingual English/Spanish capabilities. High school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred; 1–3 years experience and a valid PA

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Associates Degree preferred but not required.
1-3 years experience preferred.
Three (3) years safe driving experience.
Valid PA driver's license with zero points.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Excellent navigation skills using navigation tools.
Ability to safely operate a class C box truck.

Responsibilities

Provide WIC services from mobile unit to designated locations outside MFHS sites.
Collect data and perform screenings for client eligibility.
Explain program rules and participant rights and responsibilities.
Verify identification, residency, and income eligibility.
Schedule appointments and maintain mobile unit operating schedule.
Maintain inventory and supplies for the mobile unit.
Deliver services to remote areas and partner locations; coordinate with district manager.
