Job summary

Cox Automotive is hiring Mobile Vehicle Inspectors to perform on-site vehicle condition inspections for dealer clients across an assigned territory. Multiple levels are available depending on experience, with hourly pay and potential incentive programs.

Entry to senior levels demand accuracy, reliability, and strong communication with dealers. You’ll work on-site, using inspection standards to support marketplace transparency and inventory flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimal automotive knowledge preferred (body and mechanical).
• 0–1 years of automotive-related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections on dealer client lots.
• Document vehicle condition accurately in inspection systems.
• Prepare and submit daily activity and production reports.
• Collaborate with teammates to support client success and territory productivity.
• Maintain safety, follow inspection standards, and adhere to policies.
