Job summary

Cox Automotive is hiring Mobile Inspectors at multiple levels for on-site vehicle condition inspections with dealer clients. Inspectors document condition, verify details, and maintain strong client relationships across assigned territories.

Three levels offer growth: Level 1 requires basic inspections and learning; Level 2 adds independent scheduling and higher responsibility; Senior Level covers advanced inspections, mentoring, and leadership within the territory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimal automotive knowledge preferred (body and mechanical).
• 0-1 years of automotive-related experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record required.
• Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the role within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct basic vehicle inspections and document condition accurately.
• Move and handle vehicles safely on dealer lots and verify VINs, mileage, and options.
• Document vehicle condition in inspection systems and communicate findings clearly.
• Build relationships with dealer clients and educate them on inspection services.
• Submit daily activity and production reports; use Salesforce for reporting.
