Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking Mobile Inspectors to perform on-site vehicle condition inspections for dealer clients across a designated territory, with positions based in Southwest Houston, TX.

Multiple levels (Level 1, Level 2, Senior) exist to match experience and business needs. Responsibilities include thorough inspections, accurate documentation, and active client engagement to grow participation in Manheim mobile services, while adhering to safety and inspection standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimal automotive knowledge preferred (body and mechanical).
• 0-1 years of automotive-related experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record required.
• Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the role within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections in accordance with inspection standards.
• Safely move and document vehicles on dealer lots.
• Accurately document vehicle condition and data in inspection systems.
• Develop working knowledge of inspection standards and client expectations.
• Build strong relationships with dealer clients and educate on the value of mobile inspections.
