Job summary

Manheim Inspections is seeking an on-site Vehicle Inspector in the Denver area. You will conduct thorough vehicle condition inspections for dealer clients, verify VINs, mileage, and options, and document findings accurately.

Travel within an assigned territory, build strong dealer relationships, and educate clients on Manheim Marketplace and mobile inspection services. You will also use Salesforce.com for reporting, adapt schedules to maximize coverage, and contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications

Broad vehicle inspection experience or strong automotive knowledge.
Ability to document findings clearly and accurately.
Familiarity with vehicle identification numbers (VINs).

Responsibilities

Conduct on-site vehicle condition inspections for dealer clients within an assigned territory.
Locate, start, move, inspect, and safely return vehicles on dealer client lots.
Verify vehicle identification, VINs, mileage, sub-series, and options.
Enter inspection data into systems accurately.
Inspect exterior and interior condition of vehicles.
Perform basic mechanical checks across powertrain, drivetrain, and electrical components.
Document damage, missing components, and inoperable features.
Build trust and relationships with dealer clients.
Educate clients on Manheim Marketplace and mobile inspection services.
Engage dealers to increase inspection volume and participation.
Use data and insights to maximize territory productivity.
Adapt daily appointments for dealer coverage.
Prepare and submit daily activity and production reports.
Use Salesforce.com for reporting and lead management.
