The position requires an RN with PICC certification, BLS, and prior PICC/IR/OR insertion experience. A strong emphasis on communication and collaboration with care teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of OR, IR, or PICC insertion experience.
• Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and health care providers.
• Maintains accuracy in documentation and consent procedures.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients and evaluate suitability for PICC/midline placement.
• Place PICC line and ensure correct insertion.
• Obtain informed consent and verify physician orders.
• Document PICC insertion and placement confirmation in records.
• Educate patients on PICC care and maintenance post-insertion.
• Support facility staff with PICC-related clinical information.
