Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking a skilled automotive technician to service a fleet of cargo vans and box trucks. You will perform standard and advanced repairs, preventive maintenance, and electrical diagnostics while supporting mobile and on-site service to keep vehicles on the road.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of mechanical repair experience, ASE certification, and a complete toolset. Valid CDL may be required depending on location; on-site presence is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience performing mechanical repairs and diagnostics on medium-duty or heavy-duty equipment.
• At least 1 ASE certification, with ability to obtain 2 more within the first year.
• Must have a complete set of tools for automotive and diesel repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex mechanical repairs on cargo vans and box trucks with minimal supervision.
• Include preventive maintenance, oil changes, tire repairs, brakes, suspension, electrical work.
• May travel to vehicle locations for diagnostics and repair; may drive Budget trucks as needed.
