Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring an experienced automotive technician in Orlando, FL to work on a fleet of cargo vans and box trucks. You will perform standard and complex mechanical repairs with minimal supervision, including preventive maintenance, oil and fluid services, tire repairs, brakes, suspension, electrical diagnostics, and warranty work.

This role includes mobile repair duties and may require driving Budget Trucks to service locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience with medium- or heavy-duty mechanical repairs and diagnostics.
• At least 1 ASE certification with potential to obtain 2 more in the first year.
• Valid Driver’s License; CDL may be required depending on location.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex mechanical repairs on a fleet of cargo vans and box trucks.
• Include preventive maintenance, oil/fluid services, tire repairs, brakes, suspension, electrical diagnostics, and warranty work.
• Mobile repair duties and may be required to drive Budget Trucks to service locations.
• Work on newer vehicles from multiple manufacturers using diesel/medium-duty expertise.
