Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring a skilled automotive/truck technician to service a fleet of newer cargo vans and box trucks across multiple brands. You will diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, HVAC, and onboard computers with minimal supervision, while mentoring junior technicians and supporting repair strategies.

This on-site role requires a valid Class A/B/C license, at least 3 years of professional repair experience, ASE certifications (3+), and the ability to

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License (Class A, B, or C).
• Minimum of 3 years of professional automotive or truck repair experience.
• Current ASE certifications (minimum of 3), with ability to obtain 2 additional within the first year.
• Strong knowledge across ASE areas including Engine Repair, Drivetrain, Brakes, Electrical, HVAC.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be 21+ years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex mechanical repairs on newer cargo vans and box trucks.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, exhaust, brakes, electrical, HVAC and onboard computers.
• Mentor other technicians, support diagnostics and repair strategies.
• Possibly drive Budget Trucks on public roads for testing, repair verification, or transport needs.
