The role requires on-site service with a truck, often in challenging weather, diagnosing breakdowns and ensuring safety and reliability of fleet vehicles.

Accurate records and cost-effective parts choices are essential. The position is full-time, with compensation ranging from $20 to $38 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Post-Secondary vocational education strongly preferred.
• Experience in mechanical inspections and repairs is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty tractors and equipment.
• Operate a service truck and conduct on-site inspections.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle breakdowns and replace worn components.
• Perform tire services, test drives, and safety checks.
• Maintain vehicle records and manage costs with warranties.
