Ohio Peterbilt, a division of Ohio Machinery Co., seeks a skilled diesel technician to diagnose and repair Peterbilt trucks at our Perrysburg, OH location. You will work on shop and customer-site jobs, following dealer and factory standards.

Emphasis on safety and accurate documentation drives daily activity. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, 4–6 years of experience, and tools to perform repairs.

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational diesel/truck repair education preferred.
• 4–6 years of related experience or training; equivalent mix of education.
• Must provide own tools for repair work.
• CDL license recommended; clean driving record required for eligibility.
• Preferred certifications include MX Engine, Cummins Heavy Duty, Cummins Mid‑Range, Allison or Eaton.

Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00am

Job Summary

Diagnose and repair Peterbilt trucks and related equipment in both shop and customer locations. Perform high‑quality repairs on semi‑trucks, primarily smaller service and repair work, following dealership and factory standards. Work independently while collaborating with service advisors, supervisors, and customers. Maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance (EPA, OSHA, DOT), and a clean, organized work environment.

• Company‑provided Ford F‑450 closed box service truck
• Paid Peterbilt Certification Training

Minimum Skills And Qualifications

• Education:A high school diploma or equivalent is required, as is a vocational diploma or degree in diesel or truck repair.
• Perform smaller mechanical repairs on semi‑trucks in customer shops and field environments
• Must provide own Tools
• Experience:Four to six years of related experience or training or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Licenses: A CDL license is recommended; earns additional hourly pay, a valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
• Certifications:Preferred certifications include MX Engine, Cummins Heavy Duty, Cummins Mid‑Range, Allison Transmission, or Eaton Transmission.

Physical Requirements

• Manual Dexterity:Regular use of hands to handle, feel, and reach.
• Mobility:Frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch; occasionally required to sit.
• Strength:Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 50 pounds.
• Vision:Specific vision abilities include color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Work Environment:The noise level can vary from quiet in office settings to moderate or loud in other situations, with sudden loud noises possible.
