Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring for a Mobile Trailer Technician trainee in the United States. Trainees will complete four weeks of paid classroom training, with travel and lodging provided, then work under a Lead Technician for hands-on learning to become a full-time Mobile Trailer Mechanic in their market.

Eligibility includes studying DOT regulations, a valid driver’s license (21+), a DOT medical card, and the ability to operate an iPad. Training emphasizes safety and on-site preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to study for four weeks of full-time schooling at the Academy Campus.
• DOT regulations background check and a DOT physical may be required.
• Current and valid DOT medical card with >4 months remaining is preferred.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license and be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to operate an iPad and perform onsite vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Attend 4 weeks of paid classroom training; travel expenses and hotel provided.
• Work with a Lead Technician for hands-on training in your market.
• Progress to a full-time Mobile Trailer Mechanic role.
• Perform preventative maintenance and onsite repairs at customer locations.
