Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Trailer Technician II to service trailers and equipment at customer sites nationwide. This role focuses on DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light repairs, and documentation via our TRAIT app.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3+ years in trailer field preferred.
• CDL Class C license required; ASE certifications are a plus.
• Ability to safely perform DOT inspections and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and repairs on trailers at customer sites with minimal supervision.
• Document work and upload photos/RO details using TRAIT app on iOS.
• Diagnose electrical components and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain parts inventory and manage company vehicle upkeep.
• Adhere to safety policies and DOT regulations at all times.
• Communicate findings and estimates with management and customers.
