Cox Automotive is seeking a Mobile Trailer Repair Technician I to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on trailers and equipment in the field. You will operate a company service vehicle and work independently while meeting safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma/GED, up to 2 years of related experience, and the ability to manage parts, documentation, and customer communication effectively.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED and up to 2 years of related experience.
• Must supply a set of hand tools.
• DOT/FMCSA compliance and DOT medical card requirements.
• Participate in company-required training in full.
• Candidates must be at least 21 and hold a valid drivers license.

Responsabilités

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on trailers and equipment in mobile/field settings.
• Perform minor repairs on trailers’ brakes, air lines, pumps, lifts, and related systems.
• Document work with RO in company TRAIT app and upload photos.
• Complete DOT forms and maintain timely documentation.
• Safely operate and maintain company service vehicle and conduct pre/post-trip inspections.
