RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is seeking an experienced Mobile Trailer Mechanic to service and diagnose semi-trailer systems on a mobile service truck in the Blue Springs, MO area. The role requires strong communication with customers and coworkers, safety-minded work habits, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation ranges from $24–$28 per hour, with quarterly safety and performance bonuses after 90 days, plus benefits after 90 days and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have trailer mechanic experience.
• Outdoor, mobile service truck position.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and Drug Screen.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose all trailer systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and parts, including but not limited to: ABS, frame, body, doors, tires and electrical systems.
• Independently motivated professional, dedicated to providing top-notch service.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers.
• Properly operate the mobile Service Truck.
• Follow all safety requirements while servicing trailers and while driving the Service Truck.

About the Job

A successful candidate for this position will be an experiencedMobileTrailer Mechanic or an experienced Diesel Mechanic w/ Trailer Mechanic experience.Someone living near the Blue Springs area, with a strong understanding of semi-trailer diagnostics and repair. Someone who is self-motivated, safety-minded, and is able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.

• $24-28/hour - commensurate with experience.
• Quarterly Safety & Performance Bonuses after 90 days.
• Monday-Friday - DAYS!
• Benefit options available after 90 days.
• Paid holidays and vacations time.
