RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is hiring a Trailer Mechanic for its mobile service truck in Grand Rapids, MI. The role requires experience diagnosing and repairing semi-trailer systems. You will communicate with customers, operate a mobile service unit, and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experienced Trailer Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic with strong understanding of semi-trailer diagnostics and repair.
• Self-motivated and safety-minded with ability to communicate with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose all trailer systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and parts, including but not limited to: ABS, frame, body, doors, tires and electrical systems.
• Independently motivated professional, dedicated to providing top-notch service.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers.
• Properly operate the mobile Service Truck.
• Follow all safety requirements while servicing trailers and while driving the Service Truck.

A successful candidate for this position will be a experienced Trailer Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic, with a strong understanding of semi-trailer diagnostics and repair. Someone who is self-motivated, safety-minded, and is able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.

Requirements

• Outdoor, mobile service truck position.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and Drug Screen.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
