Job summary

RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is seeking an experienced Mobile Trailer Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic with trailer experience to join our outdoor mobile service team serving Blue Springs, MO and surrounding areas. The role emphasizes diagnostics, on-site repairs, and preventative maintenance on semi-trailers, with a focus on safety and customer communication.

Qualified candidates will live near Blue Springs, have a valid driver's license, and be able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.

Qualifications

• A successful candidate will be an experienced Mobile Trailer Mechanic or an experienced Diesel Mechanic with trailer mechanic experience.
• Must live near the Blue Springs area with strong understanding of semi-trailer diagnostics and repair.
• Candidate should be self-motivated, safety-minded, and able to communicate with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose all trailer systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and parts including ABS, frame, body, doors, tires and electrical systems.
• Operate the mobile Service Truck safely and efficiently.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers.

• Independently motivated professional, dedicated to providing top-notch service.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers.
• Properly operate the mobile Service Truck.
• Follow all safety requirements while servicing trailers and while driving the Service Truck.

Requirements

• Must have Trailer Mechanic experience.
• Outdoor, mobile service truck position.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and Drug Screen.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
