Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Mobile Tire Technician in Edison, NJ. You will operate a Roll by Goodyear mobile van to serve customers at homes or workplaces, performing tire services and providing expert guidance on installation, warranties, and promotions.

You will interact with customers, maintain safe driving practices, and participate in ongoing training and development to stay ahead in tire technology and service offerings.

Qualifications

• Must have previous customer service experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• No relocation offered for this position.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic tire services using a Roll by Goodyear mobile van to provide convenient service.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by answering questions and explaining the installation process.
• Demonstrate knowledge of warranties, promotions, and advertisements.
• Work with the Roll by Goodyear team and store network.
• Drive the van between appointments and represent Roll by Goodyear.
• Conduct proper safety checks when installing tires.
• Perform manual tasks including lifting tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.
• Travel to other cities to train others or learn new techniques.
