Job summary

Southern Tire Mart is hiring a tire technician to respond to roadside and on-site service calls with a fully equipped service truck. You will mount, dismount, balance, and repair tires across passenger, light truck, and commercial applications.

Diagnose tire-related issues, perform light mechanical repairs, inspect tires and wheels, and maintain the service truck and tools in safe condition. CDL preferred but not required; 21+; ability to lift 30–250 lbs; strong customer service.

• Ability to troubleshoot tire-related issues and perform basic repairs.
• Must be able to lift and move tires weighing 30–250 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside and on-site service calls with a fully equipped service truck.
• Mount, dismount, balance, and repair tires across passenger, light truck, commercial, and industrial applications.
• Diagnose tire-related issues and perform light mechanical repairs as needed.
• Inspect tires and wheels for wear, damage and inflation; perform fleet inspections and preventative maintenance checks.
