Description

Malvern Community Health Services (MCHS) is currently seeking part-time or full-time Mobile Therapists to work in our IBHS certified program. This position offers a flexible schedule.

Position Summary: A Mobile Therapist (MT) provides individual and family therapy to children. The MT assists families in managing mental health needs and behavior problems, develops crisis plans with involved professionals and families. This position can be full-time or part-time based on the applicant's availability.

Essential Position Functions:

• Provide weekly individual and family therapy
• Collaborate with team members
• Complete paperwork within policy timeframes
• Attend treatment team meetings monthly
• Participate in interagency meetings
• Provide services within authorized hours
• Attend staff meetings
• Comply with all policies
• Attend 16 hours of training annually
• If not licensed, attend monthly supervision with a licensed Psychologist
• Travel to and from service sites
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• Licensed Mental Health Clinician, Clinical Psychologist, or Clinical Social Worker
• Graduate Mental Health degree with at least 1 year of full-time paid experience in a CAASP system or mental health agency working with children and adolescents

Additional requirements include:

• Child Abuse, FBI, and State Criminal Clearances
• CPR/First Aid Certification

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office
• Experience in individual and family therapy
• Knowledge of mental health systems
• Ability to intervene in agitated situations non-physically, with awareness of associated hazards
