Malvern Community Health Services (MCHS) aims to support children, adults, and their families, caregivers, friends, and community members with individualized, trauma-informed, strength-based behavioral health services that promote meaningful relationships and quality of life.

We offer expert behavioral health services for children, adolescents, and adults across southeastern Pennsylvania and are currently hiring Outpatient Therapists for our Trevose outpatient department, serving Bucks County and Philadelphia County communities.

Position Summary:

The Outpatient Therapist provides individual, family, and/or group therapy to children, adolescents, and adults, promoting independence in managing mental health and behavioral issues. This full-time or part-time position may be hybrid at the discretion of the program director.

Essential Functions:

• Provide therapy sessions (individual, family, group)
• Complete all necessary documentation timely
• Attend staff meetings and supervision
• Make referrals to community resources
• Transfer skills to promote client independence
• Follow state regulations and training requirements
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Licensed mental health clinician or eligible graduate/master’s/bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Experience in individual and family therapy
• Knowledge of mental health systems and community resources
• Ability to manage agitated clients non-physically

Credentials:

• Child Abuse, FBI, State Criminal Clearances, CPR, First Aid
