Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health seeks a Mobile Therapist to deliver child-centered, family-focused psychotherapy in community settings across NEPA. This Independent Contractor role serves children and families, using strengths-based approaches and collaborating with the treatment team.

The MT develops individualized plans, conducts assessments, and maintains documentation while traveling to sites within the service area. Flexible scheduling and a sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed PA social worker or behavior specialist with required credentials.
• Graduate degree including a direct service practicum in clinical or mental health.
• Graduate degree with at least nine credits in psychology, social work or counseling.

Responsibilities

• Provides face-to-face child-centered family-focused psychotherapy and behavioral management.
• Develops treatment plans and short-term goals for identified child/adolescent and family.
• Collaborates with treatment teams to implement behavior modification plans.
• Documents therapeutic progress and related billing information.
• Travels to community settings and provides coverage in emergency situations.

Education

Licensed Pennsylvania social worker or behavior specialist

Graduate degree with a clinical or mental health direct service practicum

Graduate degree with at least nine credits in psychology, social work or counseling
