Job summary

AMIT GPS & NAVIGATION LLP is seeking a Mobile Technician – Retail Sales in Mobile, AL. The role combines diagnosing and repairing mobile devices with assisting customers and driving sales in a busy retail setting.

You will diagnose hardware and software issues, repair phones and tablets, replace defective parts, and perform software updates while supporting retail sales activities. A Diploma/Cert in Mobile Repair and 1–3 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Mobile Repair, Electronics, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in mobile repair and retail sales.
• Experience repairing Android and iPhone devices preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile operating systems, apps, and troubleshooting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mobile phone hardware and software issues.
• Repair smartphones, tablets, and related accessories.
• Replace defective parts such as screens, batteries, charging ports, speakers, and cameras.
• Perform software updates, data backup, restoration, and device configuration.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure repaired devices are functioning properly.
• Maintain repair records and service reports.
• Assist customers in selecting mobile phones, accessories, and related products.
• Promote and upsell products, accessories, warranties, and service packages.
• Achieve assigned sales and service targets.
• Explain product features, specifications, and benefits to customers.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide after-sales support.
• Maintain attractive product displays and ensure showroom cleanliness.
• Monitor spare parts and accessory stock levels.
• Coordinate with the inventory team for replenishment requirements.

Job Purpose:

To diagnose, repair, and maintain mobile phones and related devices while supporting retail sales activities, delivering excellent customer service, and achieving sales targets.
