J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Mobile Technician II to perform intermediate service and repair of tractors, trailers, chassis, containers, or power equipment at customer sites using a mobile service truck.

Under routine supervision, you will troubleshoot ABS, complete work orders, document repairs, and mentor trainee technicians while adhering to safety standards. Willingness to work outdoors and across shifts is required.

Qualifications

• 18+ years for ≤10,000 lbs equipment; 21+ for heavier gear with 2 years of related experience.
• Must be able to supply basic tools or use toolbox purchase program.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and across multiple shifts.

Responsabilités

• Perform intermediate preventive maintenance and repairs on tractors and trailers.
• Troubleshoot and repair ABS systems.
• Operate and maintain the mobile service truck and manage inventory.
• Assist with onboarding and mentoring of tractor technician trainees.
• Document work orders and cost estimates accurately.
• Complete annual inspections under supervision.
• Demonstrate use of cutting torch and welding equipment for mid-level repairs.
• Patch holes in trailer or container side panels and roofs.
