J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. in Fairburn, GA is seeking a Mobile Technician II to perform intermediate service and repair of tractors, trailers and equipment at customer sites using our mobile service truck.

The role requires diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining safety on-site, with opportunities for career advancement through the Technician Career Advancement program and company benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years of experience in semi-tractor or semi-trailer maintenance and repair, or equivalent education/experience.
• DOT/FHWA inspections and air brakes experience preferred.
• Able to supply basic tools or use toolbox program and possess a clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate maintenance and repairs on tractors, trailers, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot ABS systems and perform basic electrical diagnostics.
• Operate mobile service truck and document work orders accurately.
• Support onboarding and mentoring of trainees and ensure safety on-site.
• Patch holes and perform mid-level welding on chassis and equipment.
• Complete annual trailer and FHWA brake inspections under supervision.
