Job summary

Atlas Copco is seeking a Mobile TMC Technician to coordinate Tool Management Center activities across multiple customer sites. You will set up, diagnose, and configure tooling, maintain preventative maintenance and calibration schedules, handle shipping logistics, and train team members.

You will report to the Regional Team Leader and support TMC operations across locations with travel up to 60% locally and 40% nationally; preferred residency in MI or GA.

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel up to 60% locally and 40% nationally, depending on region.
• Flexible work schedule required.
• 2+ years in a production/manufacturing environment with automation, tooling or data collection.
• Interest in industrial tooling and continued learning.
• Proficient with computer systems including MS Office; networking/database experience helpful.
• 2–3 years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Able to work independently and in a team, with strong communication across organizational levels.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds.

Mobile TMC Technician

Atlas Copco is looking for a TMC Mobile Technician to coordinate the activities at our Tool Management Centers (TMC) at multiple customer locations. The role involves setting up, diagnosing, and configuring tooling, maintaining preventative maintenance and calibration schedules, handling logistics of shipping tools, and working directly with onsite employees and customers. You will deliver training to team members and support overall TMC operations.

You will report directly to the Regional Team Leader and provide support across all TMC locations within the region as business needs require. This role supports a wide range of customer sites and requires flexibility to travel and engage across multiple locations. Desired location for candidates to reside is MI and GA.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel up to 60% locally & 40% nationally – this will be regionally dependent
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule
• Preferred 2 years’ experience in a production environment working with manufacturing automation, assembly tooling or data collection systems
• Interest and passion in furthering knowledge of industrial tooling
• Proficiency in computer systems, such as MS Office, and networking/database experience
• At least 2–3 years of experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Customer service experience and ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
• A High School diploma or GED is required
• Valid U.S. driver’s license
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds
