Job summary

Horizon Goodwill in Virginia—Winchester is seeking a Floating Store Manager to supervise and manage assigned retail stores in the Southern Region, overseeing sales, merchandising, pricing, maintenance and related paperwork.

You will schedule staff, oversee displays and promotional activities, handle customer service and complaints, and ensure safe, clean, organized store conditions while adhering to policy and procedures. Multisite coordination and donations handling are part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of retail experience with increasing responsibilities.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must have telephone.

Responsibilities

• Supervise store personnel and functions.
• Arrange store windows, displays, and promotions.
• Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage and adjust as needed.
• Sell merchandise and provide customer service; resolve complaints per policy.
• Maintain store premises, cleanliness, safety, and organization.
• Receive and verify merchandise from warehouse/vendors.
• Process sales, cash handling, and store deposits per policy.
• Accept donations and transport to designated area.
• Participate in training as required.
