Job summary

Horizon Goodwill Industries in Winchester, VA seeks a Floating Store Manager to supervise and manage the Southern Region stores, ensuring efficient operations in sales, merchandising, pricing, maintenance, display, and related paperwork.

You will oversee store personnel, arrange displays and promotions, schedule shifts, handle cash and deposits, assist customers, and ensure safety and compliance with store policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of retail experience with increasing responsibilities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must have telephone.
• Ability to pass pre-screenings such as background or drug screenings.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to fifty (50) lbs., with or without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise store personnel.
• Arrange store windows, store displays, and promotional activities.
• Schedule store personnel to ensure adequate coverage, make schedule changes and cover for store personnel as business needs dictate.
• Sell merchandise and provide customer service as well as resolve customer complaints through policy implementation.
• Maintain store premises and merchandise in a clean, safe, and organized fashion.
• Follow all required safety and security procedures.
• Maintain compliance to all company policy and procedures as well as store policies.
• Receive and verify merchandise from warehouse and vendors.
• Ring sales correctly on cash register, handle money and deposits per policy.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties of store operation.
• Receive donations and transport to designated area.
• Participate in training as required.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
