Job summary

LanceSoft, Inc. is seeking a Special Education / Sensory Impairment Teacher in Phoenix, AZ. This itinerant role travels between schools and districts to support students with sensory impairments.

Schedule is 40 hours per week on a 10-month calendar with mileage reimbursement for travel between locations. Salary ranges from $42,544 to $65,897 annually, with opportunity to impact student outcomes through dedicated instruction and IEP development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education with sensory impairments coursework.
• Arizona Teaching Certificate with appropriate endorsement.
• ACVREP certification may be accepted in lieu of AZ certification for O&M roles.
• Required coursework for secondary teaching positions, as applicable.
• Ability to pass FBI and Arizona State background checks.
• Strong communication, organization, planning, student evaluation, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality instruction to students with sensory impairments.
• Develop and implement daily lesson plans.
• Evaluate student skills and determine appropriate educational programs.
• Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with students, families, staff, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support student development through effective instruction and behavior-management strategies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
