Job summary

Desert Willow Elementary School in Casa Grande, Arizona, is seeking a dedicated Special Education teacher (MSI) to support students with multiple sensory impairments. You will develop and implement IEP-driven lessons, collaborate with staff and families, and maintain a positive learning environment.

The role requires SPED certification (Severe/Profound) or equivalent, a Bachelor's degree, and at least one year of field experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university.
• Valid SPED teaching certificate (Severe and Profound) or Special Education Certification with experience in a severe and profound classroom.
• Ability to fulfill requirements to be Highly Qualified under ESSA.
• General knowledge of special education curriculum and instruction.
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work cooperatively with all staff and communicate effectively with parents.
• At least one year of field experience (student teaching) or approved internship.
