Job summary

Qualifications

High School Diploma or trade school preferred in diesel technology; 25 years experience in a similar role.
Mechanical knowledge is required.
Valid drivers license required; CDL preferred (must be willing to obtain).
Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Determine vehicle condition by inspections and diagnostic tests; identify worn/damaged parts and perform maintenance.
Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules, installing upgrades, controlling corrosion, and winterization procedures.
Repair or replace major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems as needed.
Comply with federal/state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.
Maintain vehicle records of services and repairs.
Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and ensure proper operation.
Collaborate with team to create positive customer experiences.
Support other duties as assigned.
