Job summary

VIP Automotive Group is hiring a Mobile Service Technician to support customers across the Long Island territory from our service department. This role focuses on light automotive repairs, recall work, software updates, and programming procedures in a mobile environment.

Ideal candidates are Level C Automotive Technicians with strong organizational and communication skills, a clean driver's license, and a drive to grow with a well-supported team.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive service is preferred.
• Basic understanding of automotive systems and diagnostics.
• Ability to perform light repairs and recall work.
• Must have a clean, valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Mobile Service vehicle in a clean, safe, organized, and road-ready condition.
• Stock and organize parts, tools, equipment, and supplies for scheduled repairs.
• Communicate with the Mobile Service Manager throughout the workday.
• Review and coordinate the daily service schedule with the Mobile Service Manager.
• Perform light factory recall repairs and software updates.
• Complete assigned repairs accurately and to manufacturer standards.
• Provide professional, courteous service during every customer interaction.
• Represent VIP Automotive Group professionally at customer locations.

VIP Automotive Group is seeking a Mobile Service Technician / Automotive Technician to join our growing Service Department and support customers throughout the Long Island territory.

• Properly stock and organize the Mobile Service vehicle with the parts, tools, equipment, and supplies needed for scheduled repairs

• Perform light factory recall repairs according to manufacturer specifications
• Perform factory software flash updates and related programming procedures
• Complete assigned repairs accurately, efficiently, and according to company and manufacturer standards
• Provide professional, courteous, and knowledgeable service during every customer interaction
• Maintain a high level of professionalism while representing VIP Automotive Group at customer locations
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and manufacturer repair guidelines
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed service work

This position is designed for a Level C Automotive Technician with an opportunity to develop additional manufacturer-specific skills.

Training opportunities may include:
