Mobile Automotive Services Technician

Landmark Ford, Inc. is a part of the Landmark Automotive Group of dealerships in Springfield, IL. Landmark Ford, Inc. is a manufacturer’s authorized automotive services provider for all Ford makes and models, as well as a provider of mobile service solutions, specializing in customer on-site automotive care needs. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional on-site technical support to our clients, by providing convenient, time-savings repair and maintenance services to our customers. We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Mobile Services Technician to join our team and help us manage and optimize our mobile service operations.

Position Overview:As a Mobile Automotive Services Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of automotive services at customer locations, including diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of vehicles. You will represent our company, offering professional service and ensuring customer satisfaction with every visit.

Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance for various makes and models of vehicles.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake services, tire repairs, and more.
• Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and explaining services to clients in a professional manner.
• Perform at a level which meets the service and sales metrics established for the department.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the mobile service van.
• Ensure all services are performed in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety regulations.
• Keep accurate records of services performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Communicate effectively with the service team and management to ensure customer needs are met.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Base Level Technician B/C is preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician, with a focus on diagnostics and repairs.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy parts and tools.
• Must have own tools
