Job summary

Honolulu Volkswagen, part of Lithia & Driveway, is hiring a Mobile Service Technician in Honolulu. The role requires availability for a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays, with a hybrid onsite/offsite work arrangement.

Compensation is offered as a flat rate hourly pay between $25.00 and $45.00, with opportunities for incentives based on performance. We seek you to bring 1+ year of automotive repair experience, and prefer ASE certification and Hawaii inspector licenses.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of prior automotive repair experience.
• ASE and manufacturer certification preferred.
• Capability to perform vehicle inspections, diagnosis, repairs and maintenance on various manufacturers.
• Hawaii State Inspectors License preferred.
• Hawaii State Safety Check Inspectors License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, observing Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Document work performed on repair order, record test procedures/results & time, per company recording & clocking procedures.
• Provide and maintain an inventory of normal mechanics tools.

Dealership: L0254 Honolulu Volkswagen Honolulu Volkswagen Now Hiring - Mobile Service Technician Pay: $25.00-$45.00 Per Flat Rate Hour Schedule: This is a full-time opportunity. We ask that you have open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. To be successful in this role, you will be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as these are peak business periods and important opportunities for maximizing earnings.

Department Hours - Monday-Friday 7 am-5 pm, Saturday 8am-4 pm. This position is a hybrid role located both onsite and offsite. You will report to the Service Manager.

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring

Total Rewards

This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes bonuses based on Production Productivity. The average wage range for this position is $25.00-$45.00 per flat rate hour. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
