Job summary

Honolulu Volkswagen is hiring a Mobile Service Technician to perform vehicle repairs and diagnostics with the Lithia & Driveway team. The role requires working from repair orders, maintaining safety standards, and road-testing vehicles for quality assurance.

Candidates should have prior automotive repair experience, a valid driver's license, and preferably ASE and manufacturer certifications. Excellent customer service and teamwork are emphasized in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior automotive repair experience is required.
• ASE certification and manufacturer certification desired.
• Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle manufacturers.
• Hawaii State Inspectors License preferred.
• Hawaii State Safety Check Inspectors License preferred.
• Team player focused on exemplary customer service.
• Acceptable driving record and valid driver's license in your state.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Document work performed on repair order, record test procedures/results & time, per company recording & clocking procedures.
• Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of normal mechanics tools.

• Pay: $25.00-$45.00 Per Flat Rate Hour DOE
• Schedule: Full Time
• Department Hours - M-F 7-5, Saturday 8-4

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring

Total Rewards

This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes Bonuses based on Production Productivity

The average wage range for this position is $25.00-$45.00 per Flat Rate Hour

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
