What You Will Be Doing

The Mobile Service Technician will maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements, correcting vehicle deficiencies, making adjustments and alignments, and keeping records.

What You Need To Succeed (Skills)

• Perform duties at customer's location and/or outside of the Company facility
• Repair and maintain customer vehicles, including D.O.T. inspections, oil changes, minor repairs on tractors, trailers, and trucks
• Maintain Mobile Department vehicles and truck inventory
• Record necessary information and complete inspection forms
• Perform duties in the main shop when mobile work isn't available
• Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to determine vehicle condition
• Complete preventive maintenance schedules and upgrades
• Verify vehicle performance through test drives and adjustments
• Ensure compliance with federal and state vehicle requirements
• Maintain vehicle appearance and records
• Operate and troubleshoot shop equipment
• Participate in educational opportunities and stay updated on technical publications
• Accept ownership for new requests and explore value-added opportunities
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate: $37.50 - $41.96, based on experience and certifications
